FAQs

Is prenatal massage safe during pregnancy?

Our prenatal massage is safe for most expecting mothers after the first trimester. We always recommend obtaining approval from your healthcare provider before booking.

You’ll be supported with pillows and bolsters in a side-lying position or semi-reclined position, depending on your stage of pregnancy. These adjustments keep both you and your baby comfortable and safe.

We recommend waiting until after week 13 to begin prenatal massage. This timing ensures your body has passed through early pregnancy changes and allows you to fully benefit from the treatment.

We use only pregnancy-safe, gentle products on your skin. Essential oils that aren’t recommended for expectant mothers are carefully avoided.

Many moms find that monthly sessions provide excellent relief and support. As your pregnancy progresses, bi-weekly massages may be especially beneficial in easing late-term discomfort.

If you have high-risk pregnancy factors such as preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, or severe swelling, massage may not be recommended. In these cases, we’ll ask for written approval from your provider.
