Is massage safe during pregnancy?
Our massage is completely safe for most pregnant women after the first trimester. We always suggest consulting with your healthcare provider before starting massage therapy.
What position will I lie in?
We use special cushions and side-lying positions to keep you and your baby comfortable. We adjust everything based on how far along you are and what feels best for your body.
Can I get a massage in my first trimester?
For safety reasons, we generally start massages after week 13 of pregnancy. However, we’re happy to schedule you for later in your pregnancy when massage is most beneficial
Do you use special oils?
We only use pregnancy-safe products that are gentle on sensitive skin. We also avoid essential oils that aren’t recommended during pregnancy.
Spa Etiquette And Expectations
Cancellation Policy
A 24 hour cancellation notice is required. Any cancellation with less than 24 hours will incur a 50% cancellation fee. Any cancellation with less than 4 hours notice will incur a 75% cancellation fee. Full charges will be imposed for a “no show”.
Etiquette
Art Spa House is a retreat for your mind, body and spirit. We require draping in all sessions and treatments. Out of consideration for others, we request that visitors keep noise to a minimum. Dedicate your time at our spa to complete relaxation. Switching off cellular phones and other electronic devices is recommended so that you may relish in your treatment without interruption
from the outside world.
Reservations
We do accept walk-ins, however, we recommend that you book well in advance to secure you preferred date and time of treatment. If we do not have space available for your desired date and/or time, ask to be put on our “standby” list. A credit card number is required to secure appointments.
Gift Certificates
Gift certificates for our treatments are valid for 12 months and can be purchased at the front desk in person, over the phone, or from our website. Appointment “no shows” will void the gift certificate.
Check In
Please arrive on time to avoid a reduced appointment time. Late appointment arrivals will be responsible for the full payment of scheduled treatment.
Gratuities
Gratuities are greatly appreciated but not required.
Refund Policy
All gift certificates are nonrefundable. Gift certificates are transferable and can be exchanged for any treatment of equal or less value, if available.

We accept cash, checks and all major credit cards. All prices are subject to change without prior notice.
